Amid the hustle and bustle of trying to be a dedicated Mom, I usually find myself in the kitchen making homemade dishes that manage to leave my friends and family asking me for more! Luckily I really do enjoy cooking and love experimenting with all the flavours my family and friends enjoy, for me you can kinda say: “Its my time out and I prefer using natural ingredients”. 

My family was the main influence behind my business Chilli Mama, as they all LOVE hot food and well lets say I happen to be the odd one that does not eat Chillies mainly due to health conditions that prohibit me from eating hot food. Over the last year I started giving friends and family jars as treats, with different flavours, to take home and try. Well, they just kept asking for more.

My Brother in Law was the person that encouraged me to start selling it, and not just giving it away as treats; this was as his friends and colleagues all loved it!  After a month of selling, I was surprised to realize that this could turn into a business and I had to venture out of my comfort zone as the demand was so high and encouraging.

So, we called a family meeting, seeking a meaningful name for this business; after a few laughs at all sorts of names, Chilli Mama was dropped and it was a hit, thus the Ideal name.

My brand is all about flavour, organic ingredients, authenticity and respect for our environment. I guess the love for the naturals is what makes clients keep wanting more!  So if you like hot stuff, bursting with flavour, then Chilli mama will hopefully leave your taste buds yearning for more!
